Gone but Not Forgotten…?

Just when I was getting started, my computer crashed and I couldn’t come here to post. Not just a thud…..more like an earthquake! Everything fried. Made me think of food so I went out and ate fried stuff. Guess what happened? The 12 pounds I managed to lose in the past month or so came back….well, almost all of it. Some of it stayed off, giving me the incentive to keep trying. Setbacks can be overcome.

Listening to the CD’s has been very important. Did I do this every day? Are you kidding?! I’m human…..life got in the way….a lot. The most important thing is I am keeping at it. I have put my full intention on losing weight (or as Terry Brussel-Gibbons says on one of the CD’s, “weight reduction. Loss implies needing to look for something, probably in the fridge”. ) I laughed when I heard that but I think it’s true! Words have power, positive and negative. What have you been saying to your self?

So, what does the title have to do with this post? Well, I lost…..er, I mean reduced my weight and I haven’t forgotten about it so that I can keep my intention strong to continue every day.

By the way, if you want to know more about how words can harm as well as help your goals, get Rhonda Byrne’s book, The Secret. I’m not paid to say this…..I just happen to think the book has great value.

Another valuable book is the one on Terry’s web site. This free ebook talks about all the possible ways weight can be reduced and there is quite a bit of good information in there. Almost as important are comments about why it is so hard for some of us to reduce and also, why some of us just can’t keep it off. Find out how you can help yourself remove the blockages keeping you from being fit and healthy. Get it here at www.trimandthin.com and remember it’s free!
